I must admit that this has crossed my mind. I don't see the drive to promote Go by the people who created it. It feels like, "we tried it...meh". I might be wrong.

I just don't want to keep switching languages every two years. The goal is to specialize in a purposely limited number of stuff that keeps its value long term.
