What is the failure mode where a yaml file gets truncated? They are normally config files in Git. Or uploaded to S3 or Kubernetes etc. CSV has the same failure mode. As does HTML. (But not XML)

Stripe is surprising in that it feels like the assembler of payment systems. Powerful but boy do you have to roll a lot of your own stuff. Like why can't I call an API and ask "what subscriptions is Joe on?". Why can't J

Is there a mechanism where this sort of advice can flow through security teams to everyone (assuming it is about security) without dropping the details. How are zero days dealt with?

Take them to court then! Get a group action or just small claims it. Do a CC charge back. They really can't deliver garbage. In 10 years that appliance may not connect to your wifi if the scheme has changed e.g. 2.4Ghz is dropped or so

Well if it is BS or not is a culture issue. LinkedIn has a culture (as does X as does Facebook as does Reddit as does Youtube). That is hard to prescribe and those tech giants probably don't care much what it is as long as people are e

This ain't a resume. You'd still need to apply for jobs. This is probably closer to your blog but hosted by someone else. A way to build connections outside of the recruitment process.

Thanks! That make sense. I found it hard to imagine you land a 3M IC revenue on that site but leading a team it makes sense, and sounds like you are raking it in.

An AI that comments on the PR is useful but I'd leave it at that. They should use their brain or they'll be vibe coding their whole life. Even seniors should be minimally using AI to write code.
