We do that but use a Kubuntu Linux laptop behind the TV and a wireless mouse and keyboard (when we want to pause a movie in Chrome and search for something, like details about an actor in a movie).

Sandbox games aren't really progression games, that takes a far more refined game focus; else you'd have to have a mainframe to run it.

I don't play PVP and am not interested in a heavy economy simulation game. I like NMS the way it is, like Minecraft, a sandbox.

Your tastes for video games may be more aligned with another genre than a sandbox game which is what NMS is. If so, that's not a reflection of any kind on NMS.
