Point Reyes and Tomales Bay are beautiful and unaffordable. But there's plenty of spots in California that are beautiful and also affordable. Look into the sierras, the deserts, the rural communities in San Diego county, etc. There

At first glance I thought this was a self-hosted thing, which would be really great. Still a fun idea though, best of luck. Someone should do an open source version of this, if it's not already,

I'm a US citizen, completely clean record - but I've had multiple bad experiences at these checkpoints, so I try to avoid them when I'm planning to travel. The fruit inspection stations don't seem to be as bad - they

I'd have to agree, at least with the toothpaste - the pain from bad teeth and the cost of dental work can't be worth the $10 you save a year. You can get that stuff at the 99 cent store. I'm sure any dentist would give it awa

I created a game called 'desert golf'. Basically a pitching wedge game - no putter, no hole, it's a big circle instead.

I like to leave htop, lnav and s-tui on one of my i3 wokspaces - works well for me. I do remember appreciating the task manager back in my windows days in the 90s though.

I wonder what happens if the third party retailer you bought it from goes out of business and can no longer be verified. Must be relatively rare. I'm curious if they just give the consumer the benefit of the doubt in those cases.

Couldn't they just use an image intensifier tube for night vision? I think they should just stick with the excuse of it being costly and unnecessary.
