Point is you shouldn't have to implement a stack. I have never had to do that in any language I used except C. Sounds like a nightmare.

Great book. Much better than CLRS for learning. Coming from a math background, this book made learning algorithms easy for me.

Maybe it's not as superficial, but I tend to ignore all new languages that has significant whitespace. It takes a bit of effort to learn a new language, there are lots of other languages, and I might as well learn a new language that h

For each frame, it returns a list of candidate detections with confidence values if I remember correctly. Should be pretty straightforward to make it smooth using that.

From my experience, 90% of CS undergrads hate math and don't want to do math. And make that 80% of undergrads doing "research" in machine learning. PhD is a pretty good filter to filter out people who don't like math. Al

Python's official implementation is very slow and they don't care about performance. I wouldn't try to take any lessons from the way Python is implemented.

Yeah, that is convenient and I do that often. But I try to wrap the variables in different types depending on their source (e.g. whether it's a filename or file content) so that functions further down can disambiguate between variables

Why would you ever do that? Why would you even want a function that accepts either a file name or file contents when both are strings? What's so hard about defining a new function?

I think you have a good point here. I see a time when programmers become somewhat replaceable and when the industry as a whole reduces benifits for programmers bit by bit. Currently, there is a huge increase in the number of freshmen joinin

Yeah, I couldn't find any information on it. TX2 has 8GB of GPU RAM. I don't even understand how it will work on anything reasonable without any GPU RAM..

Mathematics uses infix notation literally everywhere. Just because you prefer some notation doesn't mean people who have used infix notation since they were 5 years old will like it. Also, I avoid lisp mostly because S-expressions are

You are implying Europe is more developed than America? America has per capita GDP comparable to Europe's top countries. If not what's wrong with comparing your country's labor laws to a similar country's labor laws?
