Can you give some examples of those countries? Which countries are doing well and have governments that their people are generally happy with and consider representative of the people?

That's pretty sad. :( I was a big fan of Triumph of the Nerds [1] and his other documentaries and books. :( [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triumph_of_the_Nerds

I mean yes it matters to me and to my friends who live in Japan. Suggesting that levels are increasing implies that new material might be leaving the reactor or that the reactor is becoming less stable. That further implies that you need to

The reporting around this measurement was truly awful. I live in Japan, and it freaked out a bunch of my friends when really nothing had changed. It was also an estimate made based on the amount of noise seen on CCD camera images. That'

It was widely mis-reported at the time. However, they had never reported a radiation reading from this location before. The title of the article is "Fukushima nuclear reactor radiation at highest level since 2011 meltdown". That i

The Guardian article you quote is I believe inaccurate. That was a new reading that was taken inside the reactor building. There was no increase in radiation. If you stand inside the containment vessel your probably going to have a bad time

I'm not going to say it's false. But I've love to see citations supporting the notion that technological progress has slowed since the 1970s. Looking around me I see some evidence: CCD Cameras: https://en.wikipedia

Average used car price in 2015 (US) was $16,800 [1]. So, I agree it will probably take a while for most people to be able to buy a (used) Tesla. [1] http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2015/02/1
