Quit men quit. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. If you are a Facebook/WhatsApp/Instagram employee, you must know by now that these companies won't change

is it easy to have a static build for nano? As an ex-emacs user, any editor that loads in microseconds are small for me.

   by neves 6y ago

Excellent. Exactly what I wanted: a small static editor that I can leave in my home dir and use in any weird docker image or small server. Common commands like ctrl-s to save, and no modes.

My favorite extension is the "Tab reloader". I can set it to reload my work login page and it won't expire my session. And uBlock Origin and Tree Tab are fundamental for the web. Containers also nice, I can login at sites lik

My gripe with Chocolatey is just that I can't set a non default dir. Everything is installed in my small SSD.

I use chocolatey, but an official pm would be better. Just the ability to install tools in a drive other than my small ssd would be nice.

This isn't useless. Just the fact that Microsoft decided to make its own package manager is great! With it I can: - rebuild my machine from scratch. I've bought a new machine 2 months ago and still need to install something that I

Here is the link to Mermaid: https://mermaid-js.github.io/mermaid/#/

Why is this better than Mermaid? It works in Markdown, you can version control, and Git(Hub|Lab) displays it automatically. I'm really curious. Maybe for doing something programmatically, but GraphViz may be better.

Lambic beers are the ones made without adding yeast. They get yeast from the "air". I always like the story that when a fabric wanted to expand they would transfer the walls from the old one to the new.

See that the link is advocating for people to use homemade masks. They won't take way masks from health professionals. The base of the argument is that self-made masks are also useful and can help contain the virus.

Latex failed for me in table generation. It is great to write without concerns about formatting, but it is really hard to create a table in Latex. Hope Markdown solves this problem, but it isn't easy to solve the usability issues.
