I guess you didn't read his notation in the beginning of the article that you should read his previous posts on the subject. The whole point is that you give only a part (5 first characters) of the hash (SHA-1 in this case if I'm

It all depends on how you use it. If something I make produces an error, or unexpected output, the first thing I do after the usual "stop and think" phase is google it. More often than not, that search will give me at least half a

But from that point of view - aren't you underestimating Earths ability to adapt? Or overestimating the power Humans have over Earth. What if Human technological advancement is Earths plan to regulate itself?

Really, I agree that there are probably better markup options, but still, there's a reason people choose Electron over the alternatives. For me, personally, that reason is the ease of prototyping - the time it takes for me to have some

I don't necessarily think this is a huge problem. In a healthy society there is by default less births.

I agree. And this is why I no longer pirate stuff, if I can get it legally in a reasonable way. For me as a non-american though, there is a serious lack of content available to me, which means that if I want to watch something, sometimes th

Honestly, the easiest way to get involved is, similarly to open source contributing, I think, is to build upon someone elses work. Find a paper you like and think you can use as a base for something. Then when you've done, publish it a

Certainly curl is used by lots of malware, and many a hacker probably use curl in their software. I guess it's possible he was flagged by someone reviewing malware. Would malware creators give any credits?

Who are you to judge what belongs in a raw browser? What belongs in a browser is simply what the developers want. A "raw" browser as you say, would just be the HTML and JS engine? No need for any navigation!

This could be awesome, being able to inspect and make changes to your 3D models as if standing right next to them. I mean, it would even have applications for sculptors. Actual materials to sculpt with are not cheap as far as I know, and it
