im no expert and havent followed particularly closely, but my impression is that the screens are considerably better than quest or others. that it is much more capable at virtual screens. could be wrong

I sorta expected this to be the plan. go big to prove some tech and differentiate from the rest so you arent an also-ran, then figure out how to bring it to the masses. personally I dont care about the front screen at all, the eyes actually

I havent had a chance to really use it yet, but I know duckdb is in my future. Being able to connect it to all the different data sources to run analytical queries, plus the support for parquet.

I tend to agree, and we do this a lot actually. But it gets a little more complicated if you have several .env files. Would love to hear more about why dotenv is banned at your org though.

Where I have needed things like this before it is generally that there is a finite list of functions with some intersection of arguments, and the classification of which function (strategy) you need is what goes in the DB and the code lives
