I've always found it interesting that MS basically started LSP but C# has probably the worst LSP implementation I've ever seen. It's flat out broken. Rust, Go, Dart, etc all vastly superior. I recently opened up a powershell

So I get passing off if-then statements, mechanical turk/human intervention, or ChatGPT API calls as "AI". But is there a problem saying that a product that incorporates machine learning techniques is powered by AI? I ask bec

The only where left to go is up (in price). Its cable all over again. One day people will look up and wonder how we got to $100/month bills for streaming services with ads and no binge watching for new content. And then we'll s

I'm actually really high on the metaverse. Not in the short term (next 5-ish years) but in the long term (15-20+ years). Oddly enough, it was the Unreal 5 Matrix demo that swayed me. I think super realistic graphics is the missing piec

Maybe in the crypto sense but what about the legal sense? Are there regulations in this area? I know regulations are light in the crypto world so it's a genuine question. Like my bank has my money as well. If possession is all that mat

And that's a good thing. Do you think the situation on Windows would be improved if Microsoft forced everyone to use their store? There is competition amongst stores and people outright reject software that is exclusive to a store that

Just another reason why messaging should be an open standard and not proprietary. I'm okay with the government forcing WhatsApp (and Apple too for that matter) to adopt the messaging standard.

Matter makes it a lot easier to mix and match products from different ecosystems. You can get 3 A19 nanoleaf RGB blubs that support Matter over Thread for the price of one Hue RGB A19. The Hue might be better but I doubt its 3 times bett

This article contains a link to a different article about Hong Kong coffin homes which I had never heard of them before. And wow....it's like some sort of cyberpunk dystopian nightmare turned reality.

I have a 7900 XTX too but Starfield is a bit of an outlier. On average the 7900 XTX is usually a bit above a 4080 and well behind a 4090. Still great value since its cheaper than a 4080.
