Honestly, this just looks like yet another linux distro with yet another DE. The site doesn't really talk about what all it does, and it's pretty vague. Am I missing something here? Sure, the design looks nice, but I don't

I saw this title hoping that the article was about how canada doesn't have any big tech conglomerates, and that it's a good thing.

Learning to use GIMP won't help you if you're actually trying to get something done, either.

I'm not sure why, but this doesn't always work. Stuff that worked just fine for me back in win7 won't always come up for me in start search on win8.

This is really sad and unfortunate, considering how many items on etsy are just reseller nonsense, or unaltered items that someone just found. - Like these http://www.etsy.com/listing/127063284/super-clear-quartz-cry... Or just ridiculous

When he said "SmartFilter", I think he was referring to smartscreen, which is kinda annoying, but can easily bypassed. IIRC, you have to click "Learn more" and then "install anyway", which is a tad counter-intuitive, but one can still run

He probably didn't realize you have to click, it's not very clear. The design looks quite nice, but if you can't tell what you're supposed to do, it's a problem (it confused me too).. esp the HN crowd probably just wants to see a descripti
