A lot of outrage in HN comments, but it's kinda ironic, because if you had to point at the single biggest concentration of people who built out surveillance capitalism and other facets of our digital dystopian future... Maybe the peopl

What is the reason that the current LLMs work better with XML than with JSON? Is it the names in the element tags?

If you instead put parentheses around the lexical sequences, then you wouldn't need syntax like `[3]` to denote length. You also wouldn't need indentation levels to be syntactically meaningful. You could also get rid of LLM tokens

Looks like you have a potentially great business for corporate compliance, if you can answer with plausibly high confidence (or indemnify?). I only occasionally research companies, and it's from an engineering&product perspective,

True. Small outfits can be a pretty big category of companies that don't have a fully locked-down enterprise security environment with clout who can insist that everything like that racked and put under their control. Homelabbers tend

Provenance and trust are relevant for a remote KVM. But I can't find any information on their Web site about who runs the JetKVM company, not even a partial name or handle of anyone, nor even what country they are in. Which seems odd

Something to keep in mind, when sharing code you've written... to promote the Mac or Windows platform you use, and putting it on GitHub to endorse that, and starting a Discord for community around it.

I suspect that the majority of people who are shoveling BS in their blogs aren't doing it because they actually want to think and write and share and learn and be human; but rather, the sole purpose of the blog is for SEO, or to prom

This is a big problem, though I would be slow to trust anyone purporting to address this problem. (Though, to their credit, this Books by People team is more credible than the bog-standard pair of 20yo Bay Area techbro grifters I expected.
