100% agree with the calculation expression difficulty in visual languages. Stuff like math and binary communications over serial, TCP, etc. just feel incredibly tedious for what I know how to do in 1 or two lines of C. What I definitely app

I'd propose that LabVIEW is just as dimensional as any text language while still presenting a 2nd dimension of visual reference. LabVIEW has subVIs which are effectively no different from any subroutine or method in another language. L
