While I don't doubt the rest of the article, I will say as a former Uber intern (this past summer) the vast majority of us were not overworked. I (and most of my fellow Uber interns) worked between 40-50 hours a week, and we were paid

I wonder how autonomous driving will affect shorter flight commutes. I'll probably never take a car from Philadelphia to LA, but I might prefer to travel by car from Philadelphia to Chicago if I know that I can sleep throughout the car

China is still a developing market for ride hailing/sharing. The margins aren't that good. In fact, with the amount Uber/Didi are spending on driver/rider acquisition, they're both probably bleeding cash like crazy.
