Health is your biggest asset. No career will be fun if your health is ruined. Be careful and treat your body well!

In my opinion the "right" way for static things. Keeps the browser from computing, no need for the original data and libs. Of course being able to inspec other people's d3 code is fun on the other hand.

It was fine before already if you are using a browser with nice reflow. I am not sure what exactly changed but the front-page now seems to have extra padding on the sides making it annoyingly narrow. Same for /threads. /item pages

So what does a message actually cost in terms of dollars, power, time? How does it prevent low volume spam?

That is not a good choice per se. If you use disqus you let some third party spy on your visitors, you give away content that belongs to your site to a random service and you require javascript for something as trivial as reading/writi

I use Tor and block third party requests by default for my random browsing. It's good enough.

Google's core strength was search but in recent years I felt it got worse and worse for the benefit of Google's other strength: Advertising.

Text and images can easily be tampered with to exploit. In fact, that's a common malware vector. If you have reason to not trust your files, then it's fairly black and white.

Thank you for making me aware of this insanity. I'll make sure to block those on my sites. The thoughtless denial of privacy is so weird, no one seems to mind letting third parties spy on their visitors. Yes, you, Google, jquery, cloud
