I dont really get your point. He was an UX engineer at Apple. He probably was involved with the "goddamn ipad". He is not critizicing the Interface Method perse, since it is probably the best we can do right now given the size constraints a

I dont think the author thinks kinect is wrong. What he criticizes is that a touch interface we you physically touch something needs to supply tactile feedback. Kinect however is IMO not bound to the same scrutiny for tactile feedback. If y

Excellent Post. More of that please. I think some sort of HUD in glasses will be the future. Doesnt take up much space (presumably) and allows for rich gesture interaction (like whats already possible with Kinect)

I think it really depends. In most use cases, taking a seperate keyboard with you is not that annoying, and given the big constraints that this add-on imposes, it might be worth the costs? dont you think it would be nice if you could use th

What i am saying is that you are forced to re-login to prevent someone stealing your facebook account when he has access to your computer. given that most people stay logged into their gmail, i think this would actually be helpful

I think they should have used that information differently. Given they know that you are already logged into your gmail, any visitor to your machine will therefore know how to reset the password to his advantage. Instead, they should have m

the point he is making is that users shouldnt have to do this work. The circle feature implies that they will automatically will take care of it when in fact it doesnt. It's a lot of manual labor as he elaborates.
