I strongly agree that it's incomparably more important to teach a man/village how to fish/build a bike than to give them one. Unfortunately most people who focus on "helping" are grossly incompetent and have largely

What a bizarre bubble you live in to even be asking this question... I've never owned a single apple product, and never will. And in the rare occasions in which I have to use someone's MacBook, I'm completely lost - like some

Indeed, most physiotherapists (and people in any profession) are completely useless. They don't have any understanding of the body as a system, don't investigate, and just give you some cookie cutter exercises from some app that t

Friend, as many others are saying, you should try to avoid surgery as much as possible. Check out moveu.com - it's cheap (and free to start if you want for their drip marketing to send you a coupon code) and full of excellent informati

yeah, my caffeine issues started around 30. Im nearly 40 and other problems are, indeed, presenting themselves. Young people should, but never will, heed the warnings of old people.

Gotcha. Yes, if you have your cache (let alone services) all across different machines, then this is all irrelevant. The real question, which few ever ask, is whether your app actually needs more than one server. Servers are so insanely lar

If you're getting 12-22ms latency for your cache reads, the network is your bottleneck. If stored locally, you would get many orders of magnitude faster than that.

This was my immediate thought. Very small amounts of daily coffee have caused me significant problems with fatigue etc... Takes 1-2 months to get back to feeling good. Strongly urge anyone who feels tired, lack of focus etc to stop all caff

You need more than weeks of abstinence, friend. Ive generally noticed 1-2 months are necessary to recover from all of the awful side effects of caffeine (from drinking a tiny amount of coffee per day - my body is just very sensitive to it).

Give Vivaldi a try. I used edge on windows and android ever since it started used chromium, and switched to Vivaldi on Linux and android 8 months ago. Generally quite happy with it - not really missing any features from edge.

Why not Vivaldi on android as well, and benefit from sync etc? That's what I've been doing for about 8 months now. Generally quite happy.

Part of their model is that not everyone will use their entire quota each month. I don't think I will. I use under $1/day with deepseek v4 flash. We get $60 for the $10 sub.

This is my observation as well with deepseek by flags. It takes too much initiative, and is often not particularly smart. Yet, I find it is so fast and good at iterating/correcting it's mistakes that it eventually finds the way on

Better than most of star wars? It's incomparably better than anything else star wars has ever done. It's one of the best series I've ever watched. Absolute privilege to be able to see it.
