4GB is nothing for a dataset of that size and Espacenet is certainly available online, but it is heavily rate limited and they do not just allow you to download the full thing. The data was only a side point. My main frustration with the EP

I am not talking about the patent images. That's not the data that most people are interested in. I am talking about ESpacenet, OPS, etc. which are the ones that people care about.

The EU patent office is horribly unfair to individual inventors. There are not even fee differences for a kid in their bedroom vs Apple when filing a patent. Take data also, EPO will charge you hundreds of thousands of dollars for patent da

Yes, this is the truth. Look at the recent Cisco patent case. They pulled a Facebook and stole some startups IP while meeting with them. The startup won over 1.5 billion in damages, mostly because they were able to show willful infringement

I believe that feature was just litigated in VLSI v Intel. VLSI won 2.1 billion in damages due to their patent.

Nobody is afraid of the FTC, they are a joke of an agency. Read the case they just filed against Facebook. Tiktok isn't a competitor! Really? The FTC has a terrible record on appeal as well.
