I have also noticed that the more I need help in a situation, the harder it is to ask for it. The degree of difficulty is somehow connected to the degree of need and factors in my tolerance for disappointment.

And don't miss Al Filreis from Introduction to Modern and Contemporary Poetry (U Penn) at coursera. Humanities taught right.

Here is a little love for Octopress. Easy to mess around with the themes and easy to deploy with github or rsync.

Mine is too. I'm actually on my second one. I started back in the late 1980's and spent some fifteen years planning and plotting the first one before I put that outline in a drawer and began planning and plotting the second one. I'm hope

I'm left-handed and spent my learning-to-write time in school attempting to form the letters while holding the pencil differently than everyone else. I could already write and to pass the time I decided to find out whether it was possible

Sure. Why not? Listening to music while in public sends the clear signal that she doesn't want to talk to you or anyone else. I think young people use earphones as a way of finding some privacy in an over socialized world. A pretty good ad

Looks nice! I have two comments on your homepage copy: 1) "Various Different Formats" is redundant. That which varies is different by definition. You could choose one or the other - or an even more descriptive/specific word and be better

I'm taking Modern and Contemporary American Poetry (ModPoPenn) and I'm thoroughly impressed by the fact that the professor, Al Filreis and his staff of TAs maintain a strong presence in the forums. The discussion format videos are excellen

Aren't there any random corn eaters here? Shudder not, I just bite around on the cob until all the corn is gone.

Sexual tension? In friendships? Wait a minute, why not? Let's don't be disingenuous, here. We love it, don't we? Isn't why we read books, go to movies, watch silly TV series? It works there because it's universal. We've all felt it. I

I don't know how it ends and I can't read the end. Every time I try, I have this strange feeling that as long as I don't read it, it can't happen; what ever it is; that the story, and the fate of all those strange and magical personalities

Congratulations, jriley on not one, but two monumental decisions. The ring for your girlfriend should turn out to be a contribution to your success equal to your decision to leave your job. Good luck to you both!
