This is sad, but honestly the expected outcome. Not only did they receive money from people, which is like the #1 in the not-to-do list when you're offering a product in a legally grey area, but also they set up a company in the US (TR

Yes, in the end these are (mostly) fully fledged android devices with all the baggage running in the background. Modem aside, wifi is usually the biggest battery consumer, keeping wifi off usually will significantly improve the battery life

One thing that people tend to not expect for these e-ink smartphones is that their battery life, while good compared to normal phones, is nowhere near the "expected" battery life for an e-ink e-reader. This phone for example has a

I think that's a rather low bar. Coming off of IE6, any browser that is advertised on the front page of Google just needs to not suck to be successful.

As far as I can tell, libcurl's support for websocket is fairly minimal with the main use case being "connect to this ws endpoint and send/receive data". Meanwhile libwebsockets allows you to do everything under the sun

The biggest problem with SO is that it is self-conflicting in its mission. It wants high-quality answers, it wants to avoid duplicates, it wants to be wiki-like or even something that can replace official docs/man page. All those are g
