Out of topic but are we now back at the same performance than ChatGPT 4 at the time people said it worked like magic (meaning before the nerf to make it more politically correct but making his performance crash)?

Yes it’s nice like that. Specially for side projects on AWS that could go wrong on your personal credit card. Also I heard they forgave bills sometimes.

For Nvidia to become like Cisco we need 2 things. 1. AI will become easy at all level with no big revolution and 2. Nvidia will not diversify and invest in the next big thing. I am not sure of 1 but certainly not 2. Maybe if the next big th

People downvoting anybody against it without giving any proper answer… I agree with everything you said. Even the security it promotes is false advertising. Yes maybe Bitcoin ~itself~ is secured but the rest is not. It has to live on server

Yes they have to work with a structural engineer for that. Just like a car designer have to work with a mechanical engineer or a product manager with an software architect. Architectes are not engineers they are designers and visionaries. Y

For me it’s 2 things: math is already hard even with a teacher and after you found a job it’s just you and your screen. The other part is research moves at a crazy speed it’s very hard to keep up I think while having a job.

1. Avoid 3D at all costs 2. Keep it simple 3. Start with the funniest and smallest things to do and increment. Like making the character being able to move around or being able to attack with a sword than different weapons, etc…

At least this is innovation and always moving forward. For the frontend space sometimes it’s step backs, reinventing the wheel, or just because a new tool looks shinier…

> None of your comment writes about why CUDA is so special compared to OpenCL or Metal. OP and OP’s OP never frame it about that. But you can still get the answer you are looking for from their answers.

Ya I miss the time when Rails was used 2 out 3 times in startups. It has it flows but dang the DX and the features it has. And the speed you ship things. Even Java with its massive ecosystem and devs doesn’t have an all packed solution like

There are 2 problems to that. First seeing how much it costs OpenAI to run their infrastructure, that rockstar will have a one time payment for the game and not a subscription from the players, and that you will have maybe 50-100 query per

Definitely their skills at storytelling. Look at what is considered the top 5 comics of Batman for instance. Their stories are meh at best to forgettable and so far from what mangas offer. I think they work because the art is very good. I c

Personally I don’t think AGI is possible. I was thinking more of a model that will be able to do 100 times what you can do now. Like able to answer questions like: what is the most efficient way to attack this front considering this map and
