Maybe not weird but certainly hard. I’m working on a way to build better habits. I know there’s a million apps out there that present the typical log a habit behaviour however I see this as mostly punishing. A positive streak can easily tur

Awesome app. I'm keen to give this a go. I'm currently running my data visualisations using python and plotly. Flexible but tedious sometimes.

It's amazing how often you find companies/individuals asking for personal information/documents over email and SMS. I've been on the hunt for a flat for the last few weeks. Being in NZ, I used the TradeMe platform where

Kudos to you for the work you and your team did. I've had a love/hate relationship with the Shopify platform but when it comes to the API it was all love.

This sounds like a great project. I've found you on LinkedIn and Github but is there somewhere where I can follow this project?

I thought much the same but recent experiences with my cousin's children give me doubt. They're both in the early teens now and they consume games like Minecraft on their iPad as if they were playing on a standard PC. I know the g

Do you sometimes find yourself listening to a podcast episode not because you enjoy the content but because it's part of your completionist streak?

I wanted to clear my Gmail inbox but there's too much history, specifically conversations with my late father. I still tear up seeing old messages. I often wish I had voicemail and SMS stored like with email. I'd definitely pay fo

I love podcasts but lately I feel I've got too many to listen to. I unsubscribe only to find I missed an episode. That FOMO coupled with an almost obsessive need to reach podcast "inbox zero" is becoming a problem. This looks

I've yet to actually use Apple News. I don't understand why the News is not available in New Zealand to this day.

Pika code has some nice features. I don't see myself switching away from PHPStorm/Visual Studio Code but the quick start feature seems like a great addition.

I do that on weekends when the noise at home is too much and before the kids come in for reading time at the library.

How long can you keep that up in a 7hr day (assuming a 1hr lunch break in the middle)?

Not the qc20 but the WF-1000xm3. In ear just hurts after a while. I do combine the noise cancelling with some background audio. It's the best combination so far.

Thanks for the Mubert recommendation. I'm going to give it a go. I've generally found "elevator music" to be quite pleasant. No words or unique instrumentals that distract.

Considering buying the airpods for that same reason. I have a pair of WF-1000xm3’s, the earbud equivalent of Sony’s Bose QC competitor. But they’re bulky and it causes me pain wearing them for longer than an hour. Tried multiple ear tips an

I don’t see why you wouldn’t use it for e-commerce. Are you worried about CC numbers? Assuming Apple Pay, Stripe the CC is tokenised on the e-commerce store’s end.

A lot of the alternatives posted look like they'd be a good fit for my group. However, I feel the discoverability isn't there. The local UX meetup will likely choose one platform. The local frontend developers meetup will choose a

I've got about 1200 members for my local CSS meetup and get about 50 RSVPs and 30 actual shows. I'll be paying far too much if I keep this up with the new payment plan.

This is an angry piece. The Epstein case doesn't surprise me. Most people with money are morally reprehensible or have dealt with morally reprehensible people. What I can't understand is where TED talks play into this? Are they ev
