Great comments, thanks for the feedback! Pretty much all your points are fair. I will just say that this post is just a personal reflection and not meant to degrade NixOS as a system for others, as I wrote near the end of the post. 100% agr

Thanks for the comment! For some reason this wasn't the case at some of the hotels/airports/cafes I was visiting, my browser wasn't automatically redirecting requests to the login screen. I saw an entry like the below an
