Why is it so narrow? It reminds me of doing things like "} else {" in code, packing lots of content onto the screen and removing all readability.

Is it possible to install the plugins to `~/Library/Containers/...` instead of the usual location? Not that loading code is allowed on the App Store anyways, unless you're Apple, of course.

It's been available since Lion, my app uses it. We know everything about it technically . However, we know nothing about how Apple is going to handle exceptions and what will get you rejected. An app that I'm sort of working on right now a

Actually, you can't (within the app, at least) - App Store apps can't make references to the existence of software that is outside the App Store.

Well, it restricts my ability to have a clean menu bar. Honestly, it's the reason I haven't installed Growl from the MAS.

This has already sort of happened. Apps are forced to have some sort of permanent presence now. In the past, you could be running many of these and still have a clean menu bar. Now, you have to have an icon for Growl, an icon for Quicksilve

Switch back to three finger gestures in System Preferences. I have no idea why Apple thought that was a good idea. It used to be: - Two fingers for scrolling - Three fingers for in-app navigation - Four fingers for window management (Exposé

Sorry that this isn't related to the article text at all, but I have been noticing this a lot recently. It's a web design thing. It's about margin-left. Have one that isn't zero. Please. I don't want to resize my browser (currently 925px,

I think a problem with "rewatchability" is that it can vary drastically with the amount of viewings. I'm going to substitute Aliens for Transformers , because "watchable" is not a word I would use to describe Transformers . Aliens is

I think that it teaches that conditionals (or boolean constants) are "special". When I first learned to program I did similar things, and I think it held the "everything clicks" moment back.

Oh, what I meant is that on the Mac we can use garbage collection, so it's not always a problem. I don't really like the property dot syntax though, I always use the `setProperty:` form for consistency (is it a struct or an object? why is t
