India has 1.4bn people. It is honestly weird they are not dominating in more sports. Once they really move out of being a developing nation and spend more on frivolous pursuits like Olympic medals I bet they will do just that.

Unless your true max is at 195 or something 165 HR will not feel effortless. I ran 25k at 132HR on Sunday and even there the last 8k where no longer carefree. My HRmax is 186 currently and my threshold HR is about 170bpm.

That is only a moat if they manage to continuously improve the models. If improvements just slow down enough and the business gets disrupted by a mich cheaper good enough version it is game over for employing 1000s of 500k a year engineers

My neighbor who already knew how to ride a balance bike thought herself how to ride a bike all on her own at 4-5 years old. I was in the hammock watching her roll down a small incline where getting to pedaling is even easier than on a flat.

Actually owning an EV in Vienna for a bit more than a year that has turned out to be a non issue. We charge all our city driving range during curb parking around the city. Parking at a charger is actually easier since non charging vehicles

I switched out my app config to YAML which parses much slower and now my app starts exactly as fast as before. I don’t think anyone proposes switching to YAML for your API endpoints

How is K8S better for simple workloads? ECS works fine and has way fewer knobs to turn.

I had this happen on a small scale and it scared me a lot. It felt like your executable suddenly falling apart and you now need to fix it in assembly. My takeaway was that the k8s abstraction is way leakier than it is made out to be
