I recently switched all my hosting to k8s and I think it is pretty nice for a bunch of small heterogeneous web services. It is a bit of a time sink initially but at least it seems like pretty portable knowledge

I can do my work in a MacBook Air. If mine dies I can buy a new one for 999 and resell for 800 after the original got repaired. It is not a financial issue for me at all.
