I use Clojurescript for the same reason. I will take any opportunity to stay away from the JS ecosystem.

As others have mentioned, this is highly personal. My own favorite stack is Elixir and/or full-stack Clojure.

Thanks! It was quite sad to read the announcement that development had stopped. Phabricator provided me with one of the best development experiences I've ever had. I guess Github + Gitlab won, and it became insanely difficult for the s

I thought Evan had stopped working on Phab. Does anyone know Phabricator's status? Is it still under active development?

I love the trip down memory lane in this thread. The game that I immediately remembered when seeing this was Gazillionaire Deluxe [0]. I still have a Win95 emulator somewhere just so I can play it every now and then :) [0] - https:/&#

Strong plus one. Not to mention that I often see highly experienced frontend devs writing components that re-render itself on every change, just because it's so easy to make the mistake of unnecessary re-rendering on modern React. Deve

I think I do understand. You see, Stallman would be downvoted to oblivion if he shared his thoughts here as well. At the end of the day, IMO what really matters is being true to what you believe, regardless of what others do. For instance,
