Chrome is good browser, Google is evil. Ungoogled chromium is a project that removes all reference to Google. Bit tricky to get the extensions work, but once it's setup works like charm.

It sounds so dumb on surface that someone would go such a great length to try protect a vulnerable operating system for browsing by building a forked browser and not use a modern os such as arch/linux.

We have a policy for our QA to sign release candidate tags. It's purely for non repudiation reasons. That's the sole purpose to keep verification on validity of the commit chain.

This is exactly what DDOS hackers are looking for. Older unpatched vulnerability, that allows either remote execution or full take over. Please do not do that. A better alternative is to just move over to other os distribution such as Linux

I think it's probably going to be norm to have interpreted language toolkits will be written in compiled languages. This is will reduce competition quite a bit. Esbuild, ruff .. list will go on.
