Just FYI, you can easily include a @babel/standalone script to get JSX in your script tags. https://reactjs.org/docs/add-react-to-a-website.html#quickly...

Have you been following NLP closely lately? It seems like most of the frustration and/or skepticism is coming from those closest to the field (i.e. researchers), so I'm pretty sure I'm missing a big part of the picture. I

First, it's clearly the goal of OpenAI to bring more public attention to advances in the field, specifically to help voters and policymakers consider potential ramifications well in advance of any "truly" groundbreaking wor

I think we're confusing coupling with co-locating. Hooks actually make it easier to separate things like side effects and state management from a component when compared to the status quo of class based components with lifecycle method

Amazing! I would love to see something like this integrated into browser devtools. There should be massive perf benefits if you could work directly with the JS VM, for instance.

This suggests that the "wealth gap" (Endowment gap) of colleges in the US is increasing, probably at an accelerating rate. This is probably not a good thing. I wonder how much of a difference the tax-exempt status is a factor in

I use comments to document assumptions that are likely to be wrong, either now as I write it, or later when someone (probably myself) changes it. It is absolutely useful to do, and really not too difficult. Languages that allow for more for

I'm suggesting we should be wary of inflammatory/controversial, trending content. Usually the attention content receives is proportional to how polarizing it is, not how nuanced or important it is. This is a legitimate problem, an

Why must everything be absolute? You can have urban farming and rural farming. Urban farming would obviously have to happen gradually, so start with easier stuff. It's not "impossible". The point is that it will reduce pres
