That said, just because testing alone isn't good enough doesn't mean it's better than nothing. The political argument always comes in the form of "regulation bad!" vs "safety good!" without much attention to the actual policies. Thank you for bringing our attention to some of the problems with the proposed regulations, but the real issue is that we're politicizing something that we should clearly do _something_ about.
