Yeah, however, the problem with breaking laws around immigration in a place you like is that you won't have to do much to become ineligible for the convenient visa options. As in, get caught by immigration working on a tourist visa, ge

98 lanes of PCIe 4.0 fabric switch as just the chip (to solder onto a motherboard/backplane) costs 850$ (PEX88096). You could for example take 2 x16 GPUs, pass then through (2 2 16=64 lanes), and have 2 x16 that bifurcate to at least x

There are smog masks from Asia where it's almost needed to be outside in many major metro areas; they use a cloth carrier with a laminated inlay of N95-like particle and activated carbon VOC filtering.

You could use a shear bolt or similar to fail without hurting the frame, or at least the frame tanking a decent number of those events (where the shear bolt fails each time) before fatigue limits make it unsafe to use afterwards.

Bandwidth is far more power hungry for DDR, but capacity is far cheaper. If the bandwidth capability of DDR suffices, HBM isn't worth it. At least with LPDDR's; GDDRs may well not be worth it under data center TCO considerations d

Also, like, FP tensor cores are way more expensive than fixed-point tensor cores, and with some care, it's very much practical to even train DNNs on them. E.g. it's common to have a full-width accumulator and e.g. s16 gradients wi

Low band gap is actually detrimental for transistors. The more spare band gap, the higher temperature you can operate them at.
