You should reverse-engineer your dates: "You really don't wanna go a date with me." Unfortunately it works. Problems will arise when your date will realize she really shouldn't have gone on a date with you.

That's a hell of a catchy title. How about "Twitter Finds Itself Between A Facebook And A Google, Deserves A Microsoft Fate But Will Finally Become Stronger Like Apple Did Or Face A Buyout Like Palm Has Been"?

Well. Guess what? I heard the Tumblr staff is very helpful. Drop them a mail and make sure to include a reference to this thread. Also, specify you want a dump of your data. I'm sure you'll receive a database dump shortly. I totally second

Imagine for example that on the Chrome home page, where sites you visit often appear, Chrome also was following the RSS of these sites in the background, and listing new news items for those sites on the home page, all without you having t

Agreed. I once wrote a Python script that would parse RSS feeds and write emails in a maildir (or whatever is supported by Python); one was then able to read news from an MUA which was comfortable (Mutt by then). I lost that script when I d

That's a very good point! I actually have no proof that they were the cause of the problem. I assumed it was them because it happened at the same time and I remember a news saying that Visa and MasterCard services were disrupted.

Sounds kind of familiar. I always read such write-ups with great respect and some sort of fear as I know how easily and quickly it can become 'wrong', so as to speak. Could you please be more specific with this though: The next step w

I spotted the Windows logo on what looks like a button too. With the announced specs, I wonder how long it will take on such a device before emptying the battery.

In Thai language, 5 is pronounced 'haa'. People use it in IM as a replacement for 'lol'; thus sentences are often suffixed with '555'. Today is obviously the funniest day ever. For the curious who want to hear it: http://www.thai-lang

I'm sorry to say that and also sorry for the careless wording but I'm rather unimpressed by the demonstration video. Drag-and-dropping tags to items seems rather unnatural and we can see messages in Slovenian. I couldn't see clearly if it w

I think the most interesting aspect of Pocoo is the documentation and general code quality. Flask is definitely a large inspiration when documenting something. Also, I don't quite get the Op's point in "just" posting a link (although to fre

Well, you wouldn't want to release anything into the public domain and I don't believe any sane developer ever has. As far as license violations are concerned, this is not a problem solely limited to the BSD as there are oh so many cases fo
