The distinction is absolutely significant. It's all about expectations. The originally promised "HL2:Episode 3" didn't need to be some huge revolutionary product, just a satisfying conclusion to HL2 and its episodes, whi

What is it that confuses you? There's a "Find" box, a "Replace" box, and then a "Replace" button.

Because Slack is a chat system and you typically just care about the most recent messages (which are always displayed). I find scrolling back in Slack to actually be very irritating, when I have to do it. It's slow and the view jumps

Hm, "simple changes" are almost never simple. To get it done, the following would likely need to happen: Project managers would need to write a proposal and use cases. UX/design would need to meet and make wireframes and mock

True, I guess it's seemed cheap to me because I store relatively little data on Tarsnap. (In fact, I don't think I've added any funds to my Tarsnap account in like 2 years.) If you're dealing with larger quantities of da

React Native is getting there. It's still early software with a lot of problems but it has a lot of promise. My anecdotal experience as someone learning mobile development was that React Native was a lot easier to pick up and learn tha
