I'm afraid HN has a serious problem with downvoters. Why -in heavens name- is the above a question that deserves downvoting? UPDATE: whoray - I got downvoted too. Gee man. Just not worth it. Buy and thanks for the fish.

True. Or you can switch to Mint. The think with systemd though is that you don't have this option anymore. Regardless of how bad idea you think it is - you are stuck with it (as it seems). I think that's on the core of arguments a

Criticism does not equal complain. If I find something horrible I'll say so - that's feedback. By your way of thinking, since I don't have to use brainfuck (an intentionally horrible language) I should not mention that it is

"There is also concern that it forms a system of interlocked dependencies, thereby giving distribution maintainers little choice but to adopt systemd as more user-space software come to depend on its components" from relative wiki

I don't know about other distros but let me remind you that ubuntu sometime ago switched from gnome desktop to Unity despite all the cries that the latter is just horrible.

I think that this is because people are finding Python equally well suited for such tasks and more modern. Perl (easy to) obscure syntax is not helping either.

You have to know either the jurisdiction (offshore country) of the company or the name of the person. What would be quite valuable would be a search based on the linked countries. E.g. companies/ppl linked to Italy.

Tcl may be the best language in the known universe (highly doubt it) but try running a job search for it in linkedin. Then do the same for java. I'm not the damned CEO you know. I need to think of my own employability/career.

My feelings exactly. Authority/fame coupled with AI hype (in fashion again these days). Also _not_ clarifying that we are not dealing with any sort of hard AI (which is what the layman understands by AI) is always a bad sign. All in al
