I wonder what percentage of Google's daily searches are actually coming from scrapers

We are using Argo for our xhr search traffic as it makes more sense than setting up different servers/vms in parts of the world. Each request is only 1kb max. But I would not use it for static assets. For this we use Bunny edge storage

I assume they internally have different quality levels of traffic so Enterprise would get better (and more expensive) routing?

They have free egress up to your data storage usage. So if you use 1TB storage but 2TB egress , it will not be free anymore.

sorry , I typed too fast and meant egress

I think the overview is missing a column of what data is actually allowed for 'free' egress. Iirc eg Cloudflare does not allow videos etc. as part of their free tier. edit: confused ingress and egress

The Polars lib changes rapidly. I am not using Copilot but achieved very good results with ChatGpt if you set system instructions to let it know that eg with_column was replaced with with_columns etc. and add the updated doc information to

I love how you pointed out this one conservative involvement and leave out the thousands of leftist involvements. Also just quoting from the wikipedia article: "Dies sind z. B. Gewerkschaften, Frauenverbände, Kirchen und Fraktionen.&qu

Right now it is fake news driven by left propaganda. The community notes on X are speaking for themselves.

This also caught me offguard comparing it to other search engines: https://www.meilisearch.com/docs/learn/advanced/storage#meas... so I never even tried Meilisearch as our base json is 5gb

Your opinion is unpopular but the most reasonable. Scientists are not philanthropists and always need justifications for their funding

Volker Piepers is radical left wing. In his narrow minded world the left make no mistakes and capitalism is the worst thing ever happened to humanity. If you consider him "one of Germany's best cabaret artist" you could not h

One could say that the account which leaked it on Reddit looks completely unreliable but then again the X accounts which leaked the information leading up to DevDay were 100% correct but also had a weird posting history with only very few f

This is starting to look very staged. An elegant way to get out of the non-profit deadlock. Looks to me like a commercial gpt-5 level model will be released at msft sooner than later.

Do non-profits have non-competes? or can the employees now just leave and go to a competitor?

by naiv 3y ago
It is also not unique to pools. You can not go to parks anymore after dawn, Düsseldorf, Cologne and more cities check for weapons if you want to go to the city on a weekend and have fun.

Thank you for pointing out the Lebanese civil war. People have to read more into it to understand what is happening in Europe right now.
