Louis Rossman over at YouTube has been going over this fuses thing from Amazon. All the fuses he tried from top-results didn't blow until he put 4x or 5x the current rating through them.

unfortunately it's much more insidious, they are both priced exactly the same. no one's the wiser until the police hit you up, or you try to fly abroad.

where I'm from, it's insanely common to buy a smartphone, only to find out when you put your sim card in, that it was stolen. The authorities will just take it back (with no refund ofc) if you can prove that you bought it. Howev

The Android/data and Android/obb show up as empty. which imo steps into, and may or may not qualify as, "breaking backwards compatibility".

I think they got suspected for data collection or something of the sort. I still trust it for some reason as I wasn't very convinced.

I use the system one for installing APKs. otherwise totally agreed, these newer ones cater to the new demographics but they sacrifice a lot of usability. I read a campus-wide study carried by a university. It showed new students don't

I still use ES file explorer pro from ages ago. I transfer the apk from device to device and backed it up on multiple locations. It really provides a unique set of features, browser-like tabs, ftp server/client, ... it makes managing f

as a tangent, I think the issue with Amazon goes way beyond just books. At this point it's just the American version of Wish imo.

just a fun little anecdote. I wrote a piece of code that said ` if ( boolean_variable == true)` this was meant to be "if neither false nor null", since the variable was nullable (kotlin), until someone else tried to "fix the

this is the notation used in the chapters about boolean algebra in my digital design course. I think it's pretty neat. I honestly never looked into operator precedence in any language enough to notice the relation.
