Most of the rejections were due to problems with your app. We have found the Microsoft team and review process to be excellent - far better than anything we have experienced before. They go beyond the call of duty to help developers get the

Sorry, I didn't realise you were looking for sugar coated feedback. If 15 levels isn't enough to hook your customer into paying a few bucks, then you're doing it wrong. If you still think giving away 100 levels made any logical sense, then

Seriously, 100 levels, how many people (% of userbase) are going to finish all 100 and still want more? Clearly no thought whatsoever went into this strategy. Even 30 is too much, 15 max.

This probably makes more sense and they wouldn't have needed to give up a 30% cut to Apple. Right now, I don't see how they will be able to continue to update the app once they hit 100,000 users whilst preventing the app from being purchase

Where did I say that every app should be cheaper than Mountain Lion? If you can sell a twitter app for 20 bucks, by all means, do it!

Milking the loyal fan base - if they can sell at this price, why not? Charging the same price as the Mountain Lion upgrade.

haha love the typo "mindcraft" rather than "minecraft" (pg3, section 12).

This is actually quite common and appears to resolve itself within a few hours after the update goes live on the app store.

I would like to know the impact this had on daily sales. The Chomp update does not appear to have been applied to the Mac App Store.

oh they do check - this is either a total oversight or an inside connection that the developer has.

Utter joke. Some app reviewers must be getting bribed - no way they can miss this scam app!

This is hardly anything to do with price elasticity. It's to do with the fact that 3 major websites picked up the story and linked to the app.

Sorry, my startup is based in London, UK - the only insurer we found here that was willing to provide worldwide coverage for a tech startup was Hiscox.

Any founder worth his/her salt would have ensured that the company has full legal insurance cover. I.E. it won't cost them money (other than a small excess) to get lawyers involved.

You talk like you already have a successful startup of your own. Do you? Do you know how many great products backed by an amazing development team fail because they lack the skills in sales/marketing/design and/or strategy? If programming

If you file a bug report on Radar, unless you know someone at Apple who you can give the Report ID to, it is unlikely to be dealt with quickly. Seems like they don't have a dedicated team overlooking it.

Perhaps that's the case at some startups, but my own and several others I know of are very flexible. Work the hours you want, from where you want. It's more about what you get done rather than how many hours you work. Someone smart can prob

So basically you want all the upside of a startup without putting in any of the hard work/long hours required to make it a success? As harsh as this may sound, working at a startup is often chaotic, if you can't deal with high pressure, it
