sure, there is a difference for the developer. anyone who is deluding themselves into thinking that Epic is fighting for the consumer here will be sorely disappointed. Epic recently raised $1.78 billion dollars in capital. how do you think

Between this PR nonsense and attempting to strong-arm it’s way into the market by introducing exclusives to PC, I have quite little sympathy for Epic. Apple’s “bad behavior” here ultimately aligns with my desires as a consumer. By controlli

it amazes me that people still seem to think that the app store was some reactionary response to jail breaking and not a calculated move. the iPhone was launched in June 2007, the app store in July 2008. Apple did not build an entire develo

it would seem they know they do not have legal standing based on the amount of effort that went into making this a PR campaign. they seem to be attempting to force Apple's hand outside of the court.

I chuckled because that was the last experience I had with Hackintosh before I caved and bought a real Mac (2011). But to be perfectly honest, it is the same experience that I have been having on my 2017 MacBook Pro.

I learned this at a company retreat at some point. We all kind of rolled our eyes and went along with the exercise. I now use it to great effect almost daily in both personal and professional relationships. It takes a little care and though

I don't disagree, but this romanticized view of the selfless visionary engineer/designer/founder is counterproductive. the truth is that moderation is important. you need both. do both. be flexible. pay attention. know when t

You can also do this with Buildkite without having to drag along the rest of the cruft that is GitLab. It’s free for individuals, if I recall. Buildkite is an excellent CI tool.

What is humorous to me is that Google is hurting users who typically have the most influence over SaaS integrations at their company (managers) by taking away a tool that helped them deal with the part of their job most of them hate the mos

I have to say, this is pretty clever. Dealing with Docker image tags for dependencies is a real pain and doesn't make much sense. you get things like `[package semver]-[edition]-[distro][distro version]`.. and this in no way reflects a

I can't help but feel a little worried about this. GitHub's UI has become a lot less coherent as they rapidly develop new functionality. The simplicity/focus was one of the main reasons I preferred it to GitLab. Blurring the
