I feel exactly the same way about Memojis, yet people use them and apparently don’t find them as cringy as I do.

I already asked about this in the parent post that refers to Erlang, but do you happen to have a write up by any chance, where you go into more details. I’m super interested! It would be really appreciated. (This is not the first time I hea

This sounds fascinating. Do you have a write-up where you go into more details? A couple of examples with before and after perhaps? Seriously that would be amazing.

I've been living in Abu Dhabi (capital of UAE) for the last 12 years and although I started getting more and more annoyed with the country, I can absolutely confirm what you're saying. Safety is almost always at the top of the pro

I realize Facebook is not a trivial software, but seriously - this large? I heard this before and I just don't get it.

Good job man, code looks tight, wish I had some more time to jump on this. Keep it up. EDIT: Btw, do you happen to have a book or some study material on this subject ? Anything you can recommend ?

This is absolutely true ! I'm new to the iOS development, and while swift is really easy to get into, the API's are a complete mystery. Even building a simple app involves a ton of tutorials/articles and Googling, because one

What kind of low life do you have to be to do this kind of crap ? Is this what "hackers" do these days ?

This is a strange debate these days. For me TDD made me a much better programmer. I'm not sure how I used to work without it. It saved me on many occasions. It does lead to better quality (from my experience). Frankly I don't see

As a web developer, that's very strange to me. Honestly game development seems MUCH harder (from what I've experienced). Not sure why that's the case.

Well I found lately that asking anything on SO that is not trivial doesn't get an answer. My last 3 questions were up-voted, but never answered. I'm a regular SO user, I know the rules, I'm doing my research, my questions are

This is extremely inspiring. I've been on a streak ever since I read John Resig's post and your comments about your book. I'll be writing code for my side project every day, at least 30 mins. I don't know what it is ...

Man, I'm a bit frustrated with this whole JS situation in recent days. There are so many frameworks, recommendations, hype - it keeps confusing me. I mean I don't want to spend time learning a framework that might be dead 2 years

Honestly If all of this is true, then obviously what happened is wrong, but I don't really see the sexism in this whole thing. Is it the houla-hoops thingy ? Because I gotta tell you if 2 dudes start doing houla-hoops where I work ever

I see your point, however for me It's a pretty safe bet that a dev having experience in multiple languages has a drive to learn. Jumping the bandwagon is not necessary always a bad thing (it could be of course), sometimes it's a s

Agreeing with the comments here and the post - I'd like to add that having experience with many different languages also shows that the dev has a drive to learn, and that's a + in my book.

Sorry, it's just that these days I'm seeing a lot of places they do that kind of stuff (there was even a term for it - can't remember exactly what it was). Having cleared that, I gotta say, it does look awesome and I wish you
