Websites don't just "ignore" DNT, they actively use DNT to improve tracking. From a product perspective, this is an additional option in their settings page that is confusing and marginally useless. I work on creating user fa

About time. It has never achieved anything meaningful for protecting your privacy, if not helping the opposite by providing yet another signal to help uniquely identify a user and improve tracking. Although, anti-tracking in general is basi

If you are ok with physics that is completely wrong, camera angles that just don't feel right, strange light effects, and all other kinds of distorted images/videos, maybe Hollywood is doomed. But I don't see that happening.

And service. AWS has lots of problems. But they have a team of real humans that respond to tickets around the clock and actually understand stuff. To many businesses, that's worth the extra cost clone.

I consider myself lucky to never run into anything like this, because Hetzner doesn't even allow me to sign up in the first place. Yep, I went as far as uploading my real US driver's license -- only because I heard good stuff abou

Sadly you are in the vanishing minority of Android users who care about this. Most people just want a phone that works. So much that many people switch to iPhones because, admittedly, many things are work better in their walled garden, and

Exactly. A task runner for Node.js is already complex enough. And it's not just a task runner itself, but rather an ecosystem of things working together. Now you tell me this can somehow handle Node.js, Python and others. I'll nee

I can't tell how this would work, given that the URL in the screenshot uses https for the website (yes the .ac.jp one). GFW is powerful, but it can't just do MITM however it wants. Most of what it does these days is blocking based
