I wonder how much of this is due to cheap outsourcing, keeping the salaries lower for a non architect role? (If you're in an architect type role I guess you have a higher salary)

This is a great concept and very well implemented. Regardng ROMS: Keep the page clean of adverts with no direct download link of the roms, and you should be ok (for a while at least)

Back in the day this would have taken 15 minutes to download - seeing this appear instantly loses some of what it conveys. Need some setTimeouts adding on those images.....

If, like what happened a few months back when Spectre / Meltown was out lots of web based game engines 'broke' for a few weeks. With other dev languages you chose the runtime and wait out the 'bad' versions. With br

I used this years ago - however ended up with construct 2. I've also contributed to the open source scratch 2 apk (runs in a browser) using webRTC for the cloud vars. It's the only scratch emulator with lists support too. https:&

This is why I favor Android in these situations. It's far easier and cheaper platform to get a (web) app out there. I have created a scratch to apk service (requires no permissions either) using javascript and then an apk signer (which

Well... I installed onto my moto g lte and it's running (after it d/w pak0) nicely, where are the touch controls? If I restart the app it just goes into demo mode on one of the levels. EDIT: Good job btw on the game speed!

My goodness! Looks like we are changing JavaScript into Java. It looks like I need to relearn the language that has paid my bills for so long....

One of my pet projects was 'emoticon select' where it would analyse the users face and play a song relating to how they feel. No playlists needed.

I found a fault when using a webview and rendering em's - it (as well as Chrome in debug mode for touch devices) didn't show the 8x scaling issue you get with a real device, which was annoying.

Unfortunately issues arise when using em's in Android webview compared to Chrome. Em's get rendered about 8x in webview, even though the Chrome emulator shows otherwise. I tried the % way but that doesn't fix it either.

I recently bought construct 2 after trying many open source alternatives. The issue I have with some of the open source stuff is when you want to use pixel art - it insists on re scaling either the camera (in a 2d scene) or the pixel art it
