Not sure if sarcasm, but are you asking how there is a shortage in airline pilots when the incentives to start looking at a career in the field are terrible?

I would surely hope that to start they would keep 2 pilots in the cockpit and have a remote pilot on standby and record X number of miles without things hitting the fan.

I get the UN angle, but didn't understand why it has to be an influential billionaire...vs an uninfluential billionaire?

Why is the requirement for an Influential Billionaire to do cataloguing? And how do you definitively know that it is not happening under the radar?

Graduated from a boot camp in 2014 and I can confidently say I did not learn a ton(3 months 5 days a week) but it did reinforce my desire that I wanted to be in the field and that I wanted to learn more. In some ways the whole thing is a mo

Its quite a shame because getting around on 2 wheels(bicycle or motorcycle) is a fabulous feeling and way more efficient...but I have not seen any drastic changes in the past 10 years to protect riders.

I guess there will be plenty of takers to be the who, but the how is more of the engineering bit. I am guessing if interplanetary travel does become a thing, some kind of open space network will need to be present to facilitate travel.

I am not sure to be honest, as I don't ride anymore(I figured 3rd strike will be the one that gets me). There is a quote that seems to ring true to me: "There's two types of riders; those who have crashed, and those who will.

A lot of American incentives are purely aligned to generating revenue or power through lobbying. I would be hard pressed to imagine that cycling or pedestrian unions have any kind of pull compared to large automakers. I absolutely love cycl

Inflation resistance is meaningless for a currency that has wild fluctuations, and not just sometimes, but on a daily basis. You have to be joking to say that something that went from basically 0, to 61k, down to 16k and wild swings in betw

I think for many people there is a clear line between free and not free, no matter whether the service costs 2$, 7$, or 100$. It's a psychological thing. On top of this, it could be 7$ now, 14$ next year, and over time you get sucked i
