Are you saying that what happened on and after 1979, would have happened anyway? How hypocritical. I can't understand that need to rewrite history to look good. I guess it's hard to tell your children stories of how you destroyed entire cul

"Whether the alternative was worse or better does not even matter, the system is doomed" It wouldn't show that it was not bound for the same fate, but at least it would show you have the minimum level of self-respect, pride as a nation, a

I always feel like everything that is happening in the US, has already happened in Argentina. But every time I mention it, I get dismissed like it was a stupid comparison. And then it happens again and again, and then I hear the exact same

I don't know what you mean. You just tell the web server what you want to do, and it will do it. Eg: "Process only files in this dir, and only accept requests to this kind of URL. And any request to that kind URL, pass it to this single php

If you wanna see php done right, forget about all the crap you have seen and take a look at symfony.com. It has great docs, that focus on teaching web development (not just a framework) and all these sysadmin best practices like how to set

When I worked as an employee, I learned to slow all my tasks down to finish them right on time. That way I wouldn't be assigned more tasks than my coworkers, in punishment for being efficient and fast.

Let me give you an honest advice on how to not be a fallacies noob. Try explaining what's wrong with their argument, without incurring in the arrogant attitude of just mentioning the name of the fallacy and downvoting. That way you will sto

Are you kidding me? I was copying his style, to show him how irrelevant and childish the statement was. Also, it wasn't an ad hominem, since there wasn't any argument being debated. Get your fallacies straight. I guess this is why you have

Why is it good? Only Christians should read it (to become atheists). For anyone else, I think it's a waste of time.

These stupid generalizations about PHP devs have to end some day, right? Symfony2 (as example) is a piece of software that is probably light years away from anything you have done in software engineering. And its community is way better bot

I'm fairly certain you don't think it's a lie, and you are just envious. Either way, I don't see how any of this matters. I explained why I criticized the guy, and instead of working on that, you tried to undermine the anecdotal part.

In case someone too naive is reading, using something like tor won't give you hacker super powers. The only real protection you can have is knowing what you are doing, and even then you can fail. I wouldn't recommend messing with stuff like

No problem at all, I was talking about the book. Even if he hasn't lied, when one reads the "author" section, it sounds like he's an expert. In the description of the book it also says it can help you even if you are a "veteran", which migh
