After using Copilot seriously for a few weeks, I can't believe they charge for it. It's really awful. It shows glimpses of being useful but rarely delivers usable code.

If your org uses Microsoft products, typically a Teams license is baked in (or at least was at some point). So when it comes to choosing a better tool vs Teams it is an easy decision for the bean counters - we're already paying for Tea

Teams is always pretty bad, I noticed slightly worse service/message duplication/call drops today. If it weren't for MS being a monopoly I doubt we'd use it

Swift Vapor is really nice but Kotlin is way better supported, the DSL available for writing HTML using Ktor is much nicer than those available for Swift, for example. I would love if more folks would ship Swift backends, but JVM folks movi

I like both Kotlin and Swift but much prefer Swift as a language. That said, I don't disagree that if Google backed it properly (seems unlikely now, considering they just fired the guy who led Guava/Guice, for example), it would d

I'm not sure it works out that way in practice. I use YouTube Music primarily, and I used to buy music from Google Play on occasion, but since they've gone all in on streaming, I can't even purchase lossless audio from them a

All in all we need more of this, rather than the bland milquetoast garbage we are spoonfed by media. The insurrection attempt is a huge deal that is being treated with kid gloves. What in Baker's proposal specifically do you disagree w

My 2016 Model S has had this happen a few times. I have even upgraded to the new computer (so the touch screen no longer feels like a Motorola Xoom), and I occasionally get this issue - but it's much rarer today than it was pre-upgrade
