I use Astra at Very High, and shit is still bad. It doesn't actually understand anything, so it often says things which are clearly not needed to be stated. Recently, I've learned that I have very high standards for these things.

You can have both! You can of course implement the non-intrusive case on top of the intrusive one. I think that opens up interesting use cases with Valhalla.

Swedish scores sank for both Swedish and maths in "natives", 2nd gen and 3rd gen immigrants. Scores did not sink in Swedish for 1st gen immigrants. In other words: Everyone is getting worse, but some were already worse than others

Yeah, why not, ya know. Making your safe-ish C program slow and interoperable with Rust, in order to make people want to jump the boat to Rust. Us old-skool "unsafe? m0ar like skill issue" are gonna get left behind.

Why are they writing their own constraint solver? There are so many great off-the-shelf constraint solvers that are probably going to be way faster than whatever Swift engineers can cook up.

I've certainly read and studied material explaining f), but I haven't read the original paper (besides, isn't that in German?). The proofs aren't that hard, as I remember them, maybe they're harder in original form?
