I agree with other commenters that Apollo is too big and too opaque to easily understand. The docs don’t have enough examples and are out of date in some places (see link-state). I’ve had a lot of confusion while trying to implement Apollo

You can’t apply as independent until you reach a certain age, 23 I think, or a court has declared you independent or whatever. That excludes most students, who are trying to get a four year degree after high school.

I use request-promise and it’s always worked perfectly fine. I normally do const response = await rp({ request params }); and then continue on.
