Funnily enough I usually bounce at the opposite issue, living in a smaller city in Australia, if a shop doesn't offer express post or a courier, I regularly have to wait 3-4 weeks for it to arrive through standard post. If there are no

What a coincidence, I've been using Clojure with Quil recently and bumping up on the limits of what it can do easily, so I've been thinking about my options. I was going to settle in tonight and take a look at using Common Lisp an

The raid was being live tweeted by an ABC editor, the tweet that stood out the most to me was this:[0] AFP: I’m still staggered by the power of this warrant. It allows the AFP to “add, copy, delete or alter” material in the ABC’s computers

I've only switched to the 2070 in the last month, previously I was running a 1060 with all the same problems (The "window stops working" bug has haunted me on and off for a year or so, but you may be right that the tab bar gl

You are absolutely right I feel, I think the boom played a role in keeping us out of trouble. But I feel like when you compare us to other natural resource rich countries, we've let them walk away with the goods for free. And make no m

It's a sad story on the ground: * We absolutely squandered the previous boom, once the tap was turned off it almost felt like it hadn't happened at all, outside of new developments in the CBD. * Created an absolutely venomous envi

I'm less worried that these clauses will be used/abused, and more worried that the mere existence of these clauses will be catastrophic to the trust of Australian suppliers to overseas customers.

I don't think likes are the problem, I think twitter surfacing tweets based on likes is the problem. Replace them with a bookmark button that doesn't effect timelines at all, and imo that's a real improvement right off the ba

Theoretically those jobs would be pushed into distribution, which the article seems to hint at, large amount of small automated farms spread out, rather than small amount of large farms concentrated, could mean more jobs on the middle and t
