IMHO, no. Centralized is where I go to get more than one type or source of content. Hence, the rise of aggregators, which are now the most popular sites online. Netflix is also an aggregator; we just don't normally think of it that way be

I keep my Firefox up to date with release versions, have few plugins, and still find it absorbing memory at a tremendous rate. Chrome can also use memory, but somehow manages to let it go sometimes, as well as not drag my entire (Windows)

I like Time.gov, personally; it was the first site I ever found around this concept and so it has a soft spot. I keep finding all my physical atomic clock synced clocks (yes, I have more than one, they are cheap these days) disagreeing, som

Yeah, not everyone opens the mail, so the recipient shouldn't have to deal with the larger download (and the sender doesn't have to send a larger mail), and also, the opens are more distributed over time (for the most part, depending on whe

The problem with attachments is that you increase the bandwidth on the sender. So, instead of, say, the sender spending 2k bandwidth per mail and each recpient another 60k on bandwidth to get images when opened, the sender pays for all tha

You don't list a source, but I'll propose a different stat. A survey in 2010 implied that only 33% of folks kept images on... but that's a wide jump from 100%. http://www.clickz.com/clickz/column/1716214/disabled-images-... Your point is

I too miss WebSQL. Every time I have to spend time changing my code to simulate what would be a simple SQL join, I wonder if we didn't adhere a bit too much to dogma. The complaints about WebSQL being tied to a a specific library remind me
