One can have both: use the streaming services to discover new music, buy physical media of the bands you like most. Not everyone has this option, but it is an alternative.

The "lib" one needs for date time functions is as good as non-existent. But yeah, you will have to create tests for the codepath, instead of relying on the tests the library maintainers create.

2160p content in h264 will be too big to normally manage. h265 is way better at it. file sizes stay within normal limits.

Totally agree. I got a philips hue dimmer switch for next to the bed. One of the best things I got for the home automation. Just click it and everything in the house goes into night mode. no phone needed.

jiggling the mouse generates random data. The installer uses this for all kinds of things. Some older versions of gnupg also stated 'please move the mouse' while generating your key pair just to have access to more random data :)

It's probably a side-effect of licensing deals in regions. Besides the audio/video content, the subs are also included in those (at least I think, it being the reason makes the most sense) All those region regulations worked ok-is

it is unfair, but it's very common. also, we are very hypocritical about it. When it is about india etc, we (us and western europe) think it's normal to pay less, but when it's about different regions within our own countries
