and how are you going to prove your ID? you might as well be the one abducting them, and especially if you refuse to use an app to identify yourself... (playing devils advocate here)

'then they can be fined into oblivion' with capital CAN. Give me an example where this actually happened. (not just a statement that it will be done, but an actual example of a company going under because of the fine)

It might be a very tiny issue for you, but for others it's huge. As a single datapoint: it has been years since I used a physical card. both payment or public transport. Always use contactless payments using my phone.

This is the reason one should always ask the LLM to create scripts to complete the task. Asking it to do things is fine, but as you stated you will forget. If you ask the LLM to do something, but always using a script first, and if you ask:

I'm starting to repeat myself here: If you need/want the opinion of an AI on the changes you make, you should run the robot locally BEFORE you make a pr. I would even say: before you even push commits to the central repository.

why not have AI review your code BEFORE you share it with the team ? that shows so much more respect to the rest of the team then just throwing your code into the wild, only to change it because some robot tells you that X could be Y

those AI checks, if you insist in getting them, should be part of your pre-commit, not part of your PR review flow. they are at best (if they even reach this level) as good as a local run of a linter or static type checker If you are runnin

I still dont get the idea about AI code reviews. A code review (at least in my opinion) is for your peers to check if the changes will have a positive or negative effect on the overall code + architecture. I have yet to see an LLM being goo

if commit messages are meaningful and the commits are well crafted (with the help of git add -p for example) this documentation can be generated from the metadata ;P Also, big end of day commits normally cover multiple different fixes. Whic

This was 19 (almost) 20 years ago. As stated in the lwn.net article, a lot of concurrency has been added to python, and it might now be time for something like a frozendict. Things that were not useful in 2006 might be totally useful in 202

This. Also, not only offline-compatible but any anomaly from the api should result in the product simply ignoring the response. A simple check for 'does not connect' only handles totally offline mode, error in responses is a lot m
